MA Music Therapy
Based in South Herefordshire, my experience includes working with children with additional learning needs; adults with learning difficulties and students in a Worcestershire Pupil Referral Unit.
Before training in music therapy, I worked for the BBC where I delivered a programme for broadcast mainly generated from my own research. It involved travelling around the world extensively, often working on location and researching stories on the ground, with people from all walks of life.
I am currently an Honorary Research Assistant at USW where I am working towards publication of my Masters dissertation and am a busy, practising musician – regularly gigging with my own old-time string band and a free improvisation collective in the local valley.
