Ruth Melhuish



Music Therapist

Ruth Melhuish has worked as a music therapist since 1991 in a wide range of NHS and community settings. Her clinical specialisms are adult and older people’s mental health. She has published research in the field of dementia on the topics of staff training and the development of evaluation tools, and has presented at several conferences. She is also a clinical supervisor, guest lecturer and
former external examiner to one of the music therapy MA courses. Publications include:
