Sarah qualified as a Music Therapist in 2023 from Guildhall School of Music and Drama and joined the Music Therapy Works team in October 2025.


She has clinical experience working in a variety of settings including SEN and mainstream schools, with NHS inpatient and community adult mental health client populations and with individuals living with dementia.


Alongside experience in the UK, in 2024 and 2025 Sarah was involved in setting up two music therapy projects abroad in Nicaragua and with Music as Therapy International in Kenya. She is very passionate about continuing the development of these by carrying out skill-sharing training courses. 


Music was a huge part of Sarah's life growing up as a chorister and through being part of Chickenshed Theatre Company for over ten years. Alongside working as a Music Therapist, she is also a freelance classical singer and a peripatetic music teacher, teaching singing, piano and bassoon. Sarah also has experience setting up and running childrens' and adult choirs.
